Best seafood I’ve ever had in Louisville so far. We got family tray with oldbay and pier 17 signature seasoning. It was delicious. And we also got calamari basket which came with fries. Definitely worth the price.
This place was recommended to us by some locals. Best seafood boil Ive had from a restaurant! Our waitress reccomended doing the Pier 17 seasoning with garlic butter and let me tell you, that was AMAZING! Prices were very good for the amount of food you get, especially the lunch specials.
The food was super delicious, I ordered lobster and crocodile tail, the attention and service was fast, the atmosphere of the place is very cool, the sauces and dressings are delicious, they give you plastic gloves so you can eat comfortably with your hands and towels with alcohol. They serve you on a plate with a bag so that the food arrives super hot. It was a really nice experience.
It says a lot about a restaurant that keeps the same employees and that’s exactly Pier 17 is. We have been going here for years and food is always delicious and service is always great. We get old bay seasoning . It’s so so good. It’s also nice when they seat us by a pole or wall that we have drawn our names on years ago too.
Food was really good they were quick to serve aswell, Larry was our waiter and he was super sweet, and very good he checked in on constantly refilled drinks even though he was extremely busy and he had the farthest section from the bar and kitchen and still did amazing ! Definitely recommend him as the waiter !
As a VA native I stopped by Pier 17 to try some seafood since moving to Louisville. Todd was our server and he was amazing! The food was so so good I was super impressed by the seafood and the amount that I got. The seafood bread we got with our food which I got the signature A and I got the signature sauce with the extra garlic sauce and it was absolutely amazing!
All around AMAZING! My wife and I went here for the seafood boil and we were nervous that it wouldn’t live up to our expectations as I have family from Louisiana that are true Cajuns, well let me tell you something they lived up to it and then some! AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING SERVICE, and AMAZING PRICES. If you are hesitant DONT BE, go and enjoy this amazing restaurant and it’s amazing food! HUGE SHOUT OUT to our server AMANDA, she was attentive and informative and all around some of the best service I’ve ever had!! We will DEFINITELY be going back here for sure!!!
